We are committed to contributing meaningfully to both our country and our local community. South Africa’s AIDS epidemic has orphaned over two million children. Since 2006, the Johannesburg office has partnered with the Ikageng Itireleng Aids Ministry which helps almost 900 children in 370+ households, offering material support, mentoring, life skills, nutritional and educational programmes.
Chicken Stop is is partnering with Ikageng to raise funds for over 800 vulnerable children in Soweto who need various forms of social amd financial support. 100% of funds raised by Chicken Stop will go directly to Ikageng with all associated costs underwritten by the quick service restaurants. Through the “Your Change Can Make a Change” initiative, Chicken Stop is aiming to raise over One Million Rand by the end of 2016.
